Honduras x Panama

For this unique, attractive Central American hybrid Ace Seeds worked with their best Panama genetics and selected a special high yielding Honduran sativa with attractive purple colours.

Honduras x Panama has a Christmas tree growth pattern with medium stretch so that the plants are well adapted for indoor. The untamed Honduran genetics and typical vigour of F1 hybrids makes this strain very robust and fast growing. The long colas develop impressive heavy buds and under the right conditions you can expect bumper yields. 

Honduras requires a lot of patience to grow. Indoor you should use 400-600W HPS and provide space since this is a branchy tall plant. Switch her into flowering after 15 days from seed, or starting from clones rooted for at least 7 days. The plants are very vigorous due to their landrace genetics. Ace Seeds suggests a 11/13 light cycle for flowering to trigger bud development, avoid reflowerings, and excessive stretching. This strain repsonds well to SOG, SCROG and super-cropping. Outdoor cultivation works best in tropical climates, warm coastal regions, Mediterranean climate, and up to 43ºN. Heat and mold resistance is high as are the yields. Outdoors, after a cold spell, the flowers acquire a beautiful deep purple tone typical of the Honduran purple pheno and highland Colombian sativas. Some plants may exhibit reddish-pink pistils familiar to Panama Red and the Colombian 'Punto Rojo' strains.

The terpene profile of Honduras x Panama is excellent. The sweet, lemony, incense and vanilla fragrance comes from the premium Panama line, whereas the floral and diesel aroma is contributed by the purple Honduras parentage. At the start of the high you will feel the energizing, uplifting effect from the Honduras genetics, this transitions into the creative and partly psychedelic Panama high, allowing you to experience the full range of these equatorial landraces. This combination makes the strain less 'speedy' than the pure Honduras line but some caution is advised if you are prone to anxiety and racy heart.
