We're delighted to share this special souvenir with you from our wildcrafting journeys in Bhutan. These images were taken on location in Paro Valley, Bhutan. They are among the rarest photo's you will ever see of pure Himalayan landrace cannabis. The original genetics for Purple Paro Valley were sourced from similar plants. We selected the most fragrant, resinous specimens for the breeding project.
Although Bhutan is a paradise for wild flowers and medicinal herbs, marijuana plants are subject to intensive eradication programs and the few that survive near inhabited areas are harvested prematurely. We were extremely fortunate to capture these plants in flower, and with the spectacular background of a Buddhist temple!
